The complete text of Petra recommendations now also available in Italian

In 2012, Petra (European Platform for Literary Translation) issued a list of recommendations intended to provide for new and better conditions for literary translators in Europe. The recommendations were published in English, French and German.

Members of the Italian association Strade (http://www NULL.traduttoristrade (Sindacato traduttori editoriali) have now translated those recommendations into Italian. The translation is by Flora Bonetti, Paola Marangon and Giovanni Zucca, while Pamela Cologna and Vincenzo Barca are responsible for editorial co-ordination. Centro per il libro e la lettura have published the Italian translation in the latest issue of its magazine, Libri e riviste d’Italia.

The translation can also be viewed here (http://80 NULL.241 NULL.231 NULL.197:8080/WebDoc/DownloadRisorsa?id=1377595202977).
