Following consultation with its lawyers, ACE Traductores (https://ace-traductores NULL.org/) has updated its recommended contract for the digital publication of translations.

These changes aim to regulate the different types of use of translations in accordance with the provisions of Spanish Intellectual Property Law and in anticipation of the changes to be made according to the new Directive (EU) 2019/790 (https://eur-lex NULL.europa NULL.eu/eli/dir/2019/790/oj) of the European Parliament and the Council on copyright and related rights in the Digital Single Market, which should be implemented into Spanish law before June 2021.

The new contract is available (in Spanish) on the association’s website, under the section Tarifas y Contratos (https://ace-traductores NULL.org/profesion/tarifas-y-contratos/) (Rates and Contracts).
