A database set up specifically for literary translators by the Centre for Books and Reading (part of the Italian Ministry of Culture) is now online. It can be accessed via the Centre’s website (http://www NULL.cepell NULL.it/) under the section ‘Il mondo del libro>Traduttori editoriali’.
The database is open to all literary translators translating from Italian. It is an institutional space which allows translators to publish their CV and present their professional experience. Equally, publishers in search of a translator for a specific project will have the possibility to access the site for a targeted search.
Translators may register via an online form; once their registration has been validated, they can update their CV whenever necessary.
