The Banff International Literary Translation Centre in Canada offers residency to literary translators from Canada, Mexico, and the United States translating from any language, as well as to international translators working on literature from the Americas. The primary focus of the residency is to afford working and professional literary translators a period of uninterrupted work on a current project. The program is open to literary translators who have published at least one book-length literary translation.
Translators accepted to the program may receive 100 per cent scholarship to cover the program fee, including tuition, room and board. Travel awards to partially offset travel costs may also be available.
Applications for the next period must be received by 18 february 2015.
