International Translators’ Centre in Straelen invites translators of W.G. Sebald to a seminar (Deadline 26 April 2018)

Europäisches Übersetzer-Kollegium Straelen

Since 2007 Europäisches Übersetzer-Kollegium Straelen (EUK) has been organising seminars for well-known German-writing authors and their translators. The meetings offer the opportunity to discuss the author’s most recent book and the difficulties in translating them.

This year – the 40th anniversary of the EUK – the seminar will be dedicated to W.G Sebald (1944–2001) whose work is still widely translated, read and discussed.
The seminar will take place from 15 – 20 October 2018.

Translators of Sebald’s work are invited to apply.
