CEATL’s annual meeting will be held in Prague from 12 to 14 May. In the substantive part of the meeting, an open mini-conference on training and education of literary translators will take place on Saturday morning, consisting in a presentation by our Training & Education working group and a round table discussion. The meeting also includes a public event at the Prague Book Fair on translating Shakespeare, jointly organized by CEATL and the Czech translators’ association.

13 international authors’, performers’ and other creative workers’ organisations sent this letter today to MEPS in the European Parliament’s JURI Committee ahead of the publication of their report “Copyright and generative artificial intelligence – opportunities and challenges”.
