At present, many events cannot be physically organised. Some are being transferred to the digital space. There may be a lack of experience and knowledge to carry out a digital event as coherently as possible. 
The professional association of Swiss authors A*dS (http://www NULL.a-d-s NULL.ch) and Bibliosuisse (http://www NULL.bibliosuisse NULL.ch), the umbrella association for libraries in Switzerland, have therefore created a checklist for digital reading in libraries, bookshops and schools, which aims to support organisations and authors.
This document explains, step by step in a concise form, the main elements to be taken care of before, during and after an event (e.g. technical aspects, location, security). In addition, it provides various useful links and also allows, for example, the downloading of a model contract for events and information on readings at schools.
