Another session of the International Meeting for Translators of German literature, to run 9-16 March 2014, is being organised by the Robert Bosch Foundation and Literarisches Colloquium Berlin, in cooperation with the Pro Helvetia Foundation, the Goethe Institut, the S.Fischer Foundation, and Traduki.
Thirty-five translators will be offered a programme on current trends in German literature. Participants will have opportunities to meet not only colleagues, but also authors and publishers. Seminars will take place at Literarisches Colloquium in Berlin, while various other meetings will be held at the Leipzig Book Fair.
Though translators from Swiss literature and translators from Central and Eastern Europe are particularly invited to apply, the organisation aims for a wide linguistic range among participants. Grants include travel expenses and other transfers, health insurance, catering and hotel accommodation.
Application forms should be sent to becker@lcb.de (becker null@null lcb NULL.de) to arrive not later than 30 November 2013.
