The Dutch Foundation for Literature has just launched a new website. Schwob.nl (http://www NULL.schwob NULL.nl) will focus on important world literature that hasn’t yet been translated into Dutch. In this way, Schwob.nl hopes to draw attention and enthusiasm from readers and editors for forgotten or undiscovered books from all corners of the globe. The website will feature book reviews, essays, biographies and sample translations, as well as information on publishing rights, awards and opportunities for funding. Schwob will work with translators from and into Dutch, publishing houses from the Netherlands and abroad, as well as with editors, academics, readers and critics. They will introduce unknown masterpieces from world literature both on the website and in a monthly newsletter (partly in English). The website will be in Dutch; an English version is forthcoming.
