Literature Ireland’s third series of literary translation workshops will take place 19 – 23 June, 2023. Courses will be offered for translators of English to Czech, Dutch, French and Italian. Application deadline is 17:00 Irish time on Monday, 12th June.
The European Translators Residence Programme of the German Goethe Institut, in cooperation with the Alfred Töpfer Foundation and the Saxonian Culture Foundation, is offering a working grant in Germany for professional translators of fiction or lyric poetry living in foreign countries.
To qualify, applicants are required to have completed and published two translations of major volumes, and to have a signed publisher’s contract for the translation which the applicant wishes to work on during her/his stay. […]
Translate in the City is the third literary translation summer school to be held at City University London between 11 and 15 July. It offers the opportunity to translate texts across the literary genres into English, working with leading professional translators.
